Tears of Themis Pity: The 100-Pull Guarantee and Typed Counters
1.6% rates, the 100-pull SSR guarantee, and why event and birthday pity counters don't mix. · Updated 2026-11-04
The One-Paragraph Answer
SSR cards come at 1.6% per pull (0.8% for the featured card), the 100th pull without an SSR is guaranteed to be one, and the pity counter carries between banners of the same type. No missed-featured compensation exists — every SSR independently has the featured chance. Check your position with the pity calculator.
Typed Counters: The Trap
Event Shadow banners share one counter; birthday banners keep a separate one. Players routinely discover — mid-banner — that the 30 pulls they spent on a birthday banner did nothing for their event pity. The rule costs nothing to learn: before pulling, check which pool the banner belongs to, and if your event counter is high, save birthday gems for a birthday banner you actually want.
Why 100 Is Kinder Than It Looks
A flat 1.6% with a 100 floor means the unlucky tail is amputated: at 99 dry pulls the next card is certain. Half of all SSRs arrive within 43 pulls, and naturally only about 80% of players would see one by pull 99 — the pity floor is what pushes the last fifth (and with them the 90th percentile) to pull 100 exactly. That guarantee is something flat-rate games like NIKKE never promise. The calculator's distribution chart shows it as a solid blue wall at pull 100.
What This Guide Deliberately Omits
The tears/stamps exchange values for shards are banner-specific and were not verifiable at writing time — this site ships only verified numbers. The 100-pull guarantee above is from the game's own banner disclosure; treat anything about shard exchanges as "check the current banner details in-game".
