NIKKE Mileage Economics: Pulls Without a Pity Net
Flat 4% rates, the 200 Gold Mileage exchange, and how to plan a banner when luck has no floor. · Updated 2026-11-04
The One-Paragraph Answer
NIKKE has no pity ramp and no guaranteed SSR: the rate is a flat 4% forever, with the featured character at 2% per pull (1% on Pilgrim/OverSpec banners). The only certainty is the Gold Mileage exchange — 200 pulls buys the featured SSR outright. Plan pulls around the 200 floor, not around luck; run your numbers in the mileage calculator.
Why Mileage Changes How You Budget
In pity games you can "pull a little" and lean on the ramp to bail you out. NIKKE punishes that: 20 pulls on a banner you only half want is 20 mileage tickets toward a character you may not take to 200 — and tickets are banner-scoped in practice (plan around the current banner). The disciplined pattern is binary: either commit to 200 (guaranteed pickup) or spend zero on the banner and save for the next.
The Long Tail, Honestly
At 2% featured, half of players get the character within 35 pulls — and one in ten is still pulling past 114. That tail is exactly what the mileage floor exists to cap. The P50/P90 panels in the calculator make the trade visible: NIKKE's headline 4% SSR rate is the best on paper, but with no floor the variance is the widest of the games on this site.
Ordinary Recruit: The Other Exchange
The standard Ordinary Recruit banner accumulates its own points (100 for an SSR from a fixed lineup) — separate from Gold Mileage. Free daily ordinary tickets make that a slow-burn bonus pool, while your gems and Special Recruit vouchers follow the 200-mileage logic above.
