Tip Chart
The wallet card that ends receipt math: tip amounts for the most common bill sizes at the three standard rates. Every number is computed from the same formula as our tip calculator — bill × rate ÷ 100 — so the card stays honest even if you check it.
How to use this chart
Find your bill amount in the left column and read across: the three columns give the tip at 15% (the traditional floor), 18% (the common default), and 20% (the standard for great service in the US). For bills between rows, round up to the nearest one — a slightly generous tip has never ruined a meal.
For bill splitting, per-person tips, or non-US conventions, the tip calculator handles the exact math, and the complete tipping guide covers salons, bars, delivery, and travel.
